DMX was released from the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona this morning.
He was released at about 4 AM after serving 90 days in jail for cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.
X had to pay a $10,000 bond to secure his release due to the aggravated assault and probation violation while behind bars for allegedly hurling a tray of food at a guard.
“He’s extremely happy that he’s home,” his attorney Glenn Allen said. “We look forward to being able to handle his case with him out of custody.”
The Maricopa Country’s Sherrif’s Office said that it’s likely he will have to return to court to face charges for the alleged tray toss.
