Lenny Kravitz is "happiest in dirt"

The 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' rocker shuns the luxurious lifestyle his stardom affords him and instead chooses to spend his time on his farm in Brazil or shack on a private beach in the Bahamas.
Lenny - who also has an apartment in Paris and a lavish Miami mansion - said: "I love material things but I'm not defined by them. I love Paris but I'm much, much happier on my farm in Brazil or my beach shack in the Bahamas. I'm happiest in dirt.
Lenny - who also has an apartment in Paris and a lavish Miami mansion - said:
"When I'm in those places, I'm living less than basic, it's all I need. It's nature, it's real, I sleep under the stars, I farm and I swim in the sea."
Lenny, 44, insists many of his friends and fellow musicians wouldn't be able to live the lifestyle he does.
He added: "Certain friends of mine, rock stars or whatever, couldn't survive in the jungle in Brazil or a deserted beach in the Bahamas, drinking coconut water without any access to their hair products or creams or clothes. They just couldn't."
