Jay-Z hasn't been relevent since Big Pimpin. The video was stupid. So having Harvey Keitel in your video makes your point mean what? I could understand if he had someone who meant something to the hiphop movement.
Hip Hop died to me a long time ago. I was born in 79 so Hip Hop has been in my life all of my life. I'm not even that old and can no longer stand to listen to the majority of acts now. I'm glad that Common, Most Def and others are trying to hold it down if not I wouldn't listen to rap music at all.
Common and Mos Def are real hip hop .. Mos Def will never be huge like jay z because he is too real ..he doesnt dumb down his lyrics or act like something he isnt ..jay isnt even a gangsta and yes big shit u got that old prune harvey kietel in your video are we suppose 2 be like ooh damn ..it was BORED ON ARRIVAL LOL
to all you geezers talkin about how hip-hop is dead. What year did it die, was it of natural causes. If it died it must have came back to life the next day because this shit is bigger than any other music and culture. Maybe if yall spent more time on hip-hop sites looking for good music and not on gossip sites you would know that there are a lot of new talented people.
