The Circus Starring Britney Spears will have a new opening act when it returns to the US August 20; it was announced Wednesday on britneyspears.com.
Ciara and Kristinia DeBarge are getting the dual honors. Ciara got an audition, of sorts, as The Circus’ opener, in London where she won rave reviews. The 24-year-old Grammy-winner will be joined by Kristinia DeBarge, daughter of Janet Jackson’s ex-husband, singer James DeBarge, on the North American leg of what has become a worldwide tour.
US dates include Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and other major cities, with the grand finale in Las Vegas September 27.
