BEYONCE has dismissed rumours she banned an ex-DESTINY'S CHILD bandmate from performing at the BET Awards on Sunday (28Jun09). Beyonce, who rose to fame with R&B group Destiny's Child, took the stage at the Los Angeles awards performing Ava Maria and picking up two awards. Founding member LeToya Luckett - who fell out with the singer after she was replaced in the line-up in 2000 - was rumoured to be performing at the event to promote her second solo album, Lady Love. Luckett's absence from the stage sparked rumours Beyonce's team had threatened TV bosses with an ultimatum between the pair - nearly a decade after Luckett settled a lawsuit with the singer's father/manager Mathew Knowles, after accusing him of breach of partnership. A spokesperson for Beyonce denies the story, reports the New York Daily News. And Luckett has stepped up to address the rumours, telling the newspaper, "Everybody (who performed at the event) works hard and we all have something different to offer, from Keyshia (Cole) to Keri (Hilson) to Bey (Knowles), everybody is different in their own ways so it saddens me if that’s true, and I hope that’s not the case.Jacked from Contact News

beyonce you are an ugly person inside, for putting on that selfish ridiculous performance. I liked you as a singer, your voice is beautiful, however i think you are trash. You prance around like a slut, you offer nothing more than half naked dances and a song. You wear so much garb, layers of makeup and hair for your wigs, all this to be beautiful and when u come out on stage the truth about how ugly you are shines thru all the weave, makeup, and even brighter than the spotlight u desperately seek.
Michael Jackson's tribute right after his death was a once in a lifetime event to celebrate his greatness, but you found a way to try to make it about yourself, you are by far the most ridiculous piece of garbage entertainer i have ever seen on a stage. No other black woman in the history of a tragic event of a legend has gotten on stage and made such a fool of themselves. Congratulations for trying to steal the spotlight you deserve all the negative ridicule you get from MJ fans all around the world...you should apologize publicly to the Jackson family. I don't understand how u could talk about the family negatively before MJ died and with no shame get on stage in grandmas nightgown/Halloween costume and called yourself doing something for MJ. Your such a fake clueless bitch. I hope you look inside of yourself and become a real woman, and make a change before your time comes to be remembered.
