Has Rihanna bagged a new fella, ella, ella – and one that her ex won’t be best pleased about? Walking past her hotel in London, we spied none other than rapper Pharrell Williams heading for the exit.So after doing some 3am-style digging, we discovered the friendship between Rihanna and the N.E.R.D. frontman has been getting stronger and stronger. Our moles close to the Soho Hotel told us there’s been “obvious chemistry” between them during their visit.We knew Pharrell, 36, was in town, but we had no idea that Rihanna was planning to fly back to London to join him. The singer – who recently split up with violent ex Chris Brown – was snapped in New York yesterday on the way to the airport.If she and Pharrell are an item, it will be a huge blow to Chris, his old pal and musical collaborator. Our mole reveals: “It’s no secret that Rihanna and Pharrell have chemistry.“And not just in the studio – they seem mesmerised by each other. But Chris will be gutted to learn he could have lost Rihanna to one of the sexiest men in music.“Rihanna and Pharrell talk on the phone all the time and whenever she can get a break in her schedule she’ll go and support him at a gig.” Pals noticed they seemed close in Beverly Hills last month when they met to work on Rihanna’s new album. Pharrell couldn’t take his eyes off the leggy 21-year-old in her hotpants.Unfortunately their next meeting is hardly going to be the most romantic.Rihanna was invited to last night’s Patron Tequila Bathing Ape party that Mark Ronson was holding with Pharrell at 24 Club in Kingly Street. It promised to be a boozy do – two crates of Bacardi were ordered in to make their fave mojitos. And quite a knees-up with Kasabian, Henry Holland, Sugababes, Dizzee Rascal and the Pussycat Dolls all on the guest list. That candlelit dinner will just have to wait...
