Michael Jackson reportedly called out for his father on the night he died. The pop legend - who passed away on June 25 after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest - was desperate to see dad Joe Jackson as he was convinced his aides weren't looking after his finances and wanted to call off his 50 comeback shows in London.
Referring to a phone call Michael - who was due to start his mammoth residency at The O2 arena on July 13 - took in the early hours on the day he died, his biographer Ian Halperin said: "He got in a shouting match about finances. That was when Michael said he was calling off the tour. He said some advisers didn't care about his welfare. I've been told he was crying.
"He demanded an aide call his father. He said his father was the only person who could 'clean up the mess.' "
Ian also claims the 50-year-old star - who had allegedly been given the anaesthetic Propofol and powerful painkiller Demerol on the day of his death - spent his final 12 hours writing frightening poetry while in a drug-induced breakdown at the Los Angeles mansion he had been staying at.
He alleged: "He was as high as a kite. What he wrote was dark, sort of frightening. The poems were found, hanging in his room on strings. He was over the edge.
"Michael was cracking up. He had been injecting himself for over 12 hours, he said for excruciating pain. He begged to see his father but was told they couldn't get hold of him.
"If Joe Jackson had seen him that night, I believe Michael would still be alive."
He alleges when Michael was refused his request, he ordered his physician Dr. Conrad Murray to give him drugs to "put him out". Meanwhile, Michael's friend Mark Lester claims he was misquoted over stories he is the biological father of the singer's 11-year-old daughter Paris.
A source said: "His words have been twisted around. He's not claiming to be the father of Paris Jackson." Reports which surfaced yesterday (09.08.09) claimed Mark had donated his sperm so Michael could become a father.

i wanna read those dark poems, find them gossip jacker!
I don't believe this because it give Joe Jackson too much credit. If Michael really called in for his help occasionally, then why was Joe Jackson excluded from Michael's Will? Why would Michael repeatedly tell the stories of being abused as a child and teenager by Joe? Whatever......Weak PR attempt to clean up Joe's image.
Why was his siblings and close friends excluded from his will? Janet? Marlon? Elizabeth Taylor? Miko Brando? What did they ever do to him? Michael would talk about the abuse but he would also say he wouldn't change anything about his childhood. He said he was just like his father in a lot of ways. Im sure he loved is father just didn't like his ways.
If the part of Michael asking for his dad is true, those serpents around him should have gotten Joe for him even if it meant physically going out to get Joe. It is so sad that a great man like Michael would have such a sad and tragic end to his life. Those around Michael meant him no good.
I don't beleive the story however why are so many of his relatives left out of the will? Yet these other two people who in a matter of 4weeks after his death, have signed many contracts worth millions. Something just ain't right.
That's what im saying. People are so quick to point out that Joe's not in the will but what about everybody else? Maybe they weren't as close as they wanted us to believe. The man did will his kids to Diana if something were to happen to his mom. Why not Janet or Rebbie?
I dont think he woulda called his dad I think he woulda called that old dood Dick Gregory
Joe said he banged on the gates and no one would allow him in.He shoulda called the cops.
Everybody is so quick to point out Joe wasn't in the will, well neither were a his sister or brothers. Let's get real everybody know Michael wasn't Michael didn't have enough sandwiches in his picnic basket all the time, the man was on dope half the time a paranoid=rightly so the other half. Don't know body know what Mike did for Joe on the side in his life. Joe and Rowe were at that meeting with AEG(the concert leeches) and they asked that Michaels money be in pounds instead of dollars and AEG REFUSED! So 9 times out of 10 Michael did ask for his father to come tighten that ish up AEG was creating adding concert dates & pushing him to get his arse on stage. Like Jame Brown said "Papa don't take no mess, JACKERsssssssssssssssssssssss
I don't know about Debbie Rowe and Joe Jackson being at any AEG meetings. I don't believe that. I also think this story is suspect. It gives Joe too much credit. Plus wouldn't the poems have come up in the first few days after his death if they were in fact hanging from the bedroom ceiling?
I think Michael left his siblings out of the will because he knew he was the only one financially responsible for his children and that Katherine did not have any other means of support. He supported her (and the rest of the family) his whole life. I think Michael felt like his siblings would be all right financially and/or should stand on their own 2 feet now. Besides, Janet doesn't need his money. She has plenty of her own.
