When O.J. Simpson was recently denied bail as he appeals his armed robbery conviction, no one breathed a bigger sigh of relief that his long suffering former girlfriend Christie Prody.
In an exclusive interview to be broadcast in two-parts, Prody tells INSIDE EDITION’S Jim Moret that she was trapped for 13 years in a drug and alcohol fueled relationship that was often violent. She certainly is very short and sweet with her answers.
What went through your mind when you knew he was going to jail for a long time?
That it was now a time for me to be free and start my life over.
Was he ever violent with you?
Yes.
Did he hit you?
Yes.
Did you honestly believe if you left, he would kill you?
Yeah, I did…He called and said he would come there and shoot me and shoot himself.
Did he own a gun at the time?
Yes, he did.
Do you believe that O.J. Simpson killed Nicole and Ron?
Yes.
Did he ever admit to you that he did it?
In so many words, he did.
Simpson was acquitted of the murders. But a civil court jury found him responsible. Ron Goldman’s father, Fred won a $33 million judgment that Simpson refuses to pay.
What would he say about Fred Goldman?
Oh. He despised that man.
Would O.J. try to hide money so Fred would not get it?
Yes, he did.
Last year when Simpson went to prison, Prody went to rehab and is now sober. Prody recently had a baby girl with her new fiance and feels free of Simpson for the first time in 13 years.
How does that feel?
It feels wonderful.

This broad needs to stop. I'm sure she knew what OJ was about when she got with him and she still decided to get involved with him. The trailer chick is looking for her last 15 minutes.
@7:59pm she sure did know what he was about because she was about the coke and the dollars. Please tell me how she met someone, became engaged, and decided to have a baby with him all within less than a year's time. She sounds unstable.
