Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier has purchased Michael Jackson’s famed Neverland Ranch, ATP is reporting.
The French fashion guru is turning the $90 million Holmby Hills, California estate into his company’s headquarters, but he has other plans for Neverland into a haven for fans of the King of Pop.
“I can have the house in one month now,” Audigier revealed Thursday. “I get the keys two weeks from today.”
Neverland — which MJ abandoned after his 2005 child molestation trial — currently belongs to Audigier’s associate Hubert Guez.
In an interview with Agence France-Presse Thursday, Audigier said: “I bought the Michael Jackson house. It’s something I’m gonna open just for the birthday (sic) of his death every June, where the media is gonna be able to come in and we’ll do exposes, etc.”
Audigier had been developing a clothing line with Michael Jackson prior to his anesthesia-induced death last June. In Paris for the French launch of his Los Angeles-based celebrity clothing brands on the day of Jackson’s funeral, the self-made mogul expressed regret over missing his pal’s burial.
“I miss him,” he said. “God bless him.”

i guess
I guess the Jackson family couldn't think of a wat to keep Neverland. It could be another "GraceLand" generating big money
the jacksons are thinking more of themselves than the FANS that helped to make them and mj very rich. as much money, time and energy that folks have put into them as a family, the least they could have done is hold onto neverland to be like graceland for mj's fans. and on top of that, they hid his grave so we don't even have a place to visit his grave. from here on out, i'm only buying used mj cd's because i don't want those slick bastards to get another dime of my money.
I think Michael said he never wanted to return to Neverland. So, it seems fitting for his family to not bury him there. I hear the place where he is buried is very beautiful and serene. A place befitting a "king". He deserves it.

^^i agree and real mj fans should respect that
I understand he felt Neverland was tainted for Michael but I still think it could have been turned into a museum. I also think they should have buried him in Gary and made a museum there. A King is usually buried by himself not with other people.

Where in Gary? Michael could not be buried in your average grave. I guess I can see your point of perhaps his family buidling a version of Forest Lawn just for Michael. That is what is it would take. Just cannot bury him in Gary...somewhere.
MICHAEL SAID he NEVER wanted to return to Neverland. His wishes should be respected whether we like it or not. No need in exploiting him in death too.
