MICHAEL JACKSON's youngest sister JANET has vowed to wear black for a year to mourn the King Of Pop.
Janet was particularly close to Michael - who died aged 50 on June 25 this year - and performed with him on the 1995 hit duet Scream.
A source said: "Janet, like the rest of the Jackson family, has been left bereft by Michael's passing.
"She felt a particular bond to her brother and has been distraught since his death.
"As a mark of respect she has decided to only wear black clothes to express her grief, and she has had to go on a number of shopping trips to find suitable items to wear.
"She has resolved to mourn Michael's death for 12 months, and in June next year - on the anniversary of Michael's passing - her time of reflection will come to an end."
Janet unveiled part of her new wardrobe at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.
She wore the black outfit as she paid tribute to Jacko with a powerful solo rendition of Scream.
As she sang at the event in New York, Michael's image was broadcast behind her on a giant screen.

Well she must be color blind, because she had on a beige outfit at the NY Fashion Show, and Grey outfit at the NY Fashion Show. A blue jumpsuit travelint to Milan, and a blue gown at the amFar event. This is a big NO NEWS story.
She doesn't have to resort to a gimmick to show her respect, she respected and loved him while he was here.

@9:35 ditto. This story is bull. Aside from all those other outfits, she wore black AND white at the MTV awards and the family mourned in all white when they arrived at the hospital in June. Get it right.
