Jaden Smith wasn't even born when the original Karate Kid movie was filmed.But the 11-year-old seems to have had no trouble taking over the role played by Ralph Macchio in a remake of the classic 80s movie.
After four months of training, Jaden showed off his high-kicking karate skills in a photoshoot on The Great Wall Of China.
And it seems that despite his tender age, he has stepped out of the shadow of his famous father - actor Will Smith.

There is absolutely no need to remake The Karate Kid. The original one is just fine. Why can't these people get creative and write their own movies?
all of will & jada's kids are spoiled rotten and brought up with scientology principles. jaden smith does not have the charm or innocence displayed by ralph macchio in the orginal. he's just the son of a famous and incredibly rich man. you would think that as parents they'd protect their kids from hollyweird and let them have a childhood, but not these 2 open-marriage critters.

What "religion" their parents follow has nothing to do with anything.
If you want to live and do right you will, no matter what God you follow says.
If you want to do wrong you will, nothing will keep you from that.
Now to the story, I like when little boys look like little boys. With cut hair and neat clothes.
That little boy acts more prissy than his sister sometimes.
His legs look super long in that first shot and not to be lewd, but I did also think, "what the hell is that in front of his pants."
The first movie was perfect. No need for a remake.
How about writing a fresh script, a whole new idea? Anyone creative in Hollywierd anymore?
