Black Eyed Peas band is being sued by a singer that goes by the name of Phoenix Phenom and by her co-writer! The reason? These two claim the band stole their song, which was submitted to Interscope records. The song they say was stolen is what we know as Black Eyed Peas' number one hit 'Boom Boom Pow'. The problem is it can't be verified when the song was submitted to Interscope or if Black Eyed Peas really have stolen the song. But let's see if we can figure this out just by listening the song in both versions.

I can see how she thinks they stole her song, but it's two VERY different songs... just for using the same word? pu-lease...
^^^ i agree . how hard is it to sing about how good u think your sex is.. or how good you look... same thing...i can make and a song too and put bom pow sock it to me now... and they both would sue me
I really like the song with the Cheerleaders in it. I wish that song was out when I was cheerleading, that would have been awesome. The songs sound kinda similar but I don't think BEP stole their song, maybe they just went to a cheerleading competition.
Sounds similar. But dealing in the business, you must have documents. For instance sending material certified, with a return receipt. Or sending email to followup, or ask for your material back. My atty instilled in me to always have a paper trail. Because if true, this very thing can happen, even if it's years later.
Doesn't sound close enough for her to have a claim. Funny she's suing them when there is another song that does sound just like the BEP's song. I can't remember who made it but I remember a website had a match up and it was almost perfect.
This is someone looking to get paid. The songs dont sound anything alike. Other than the words Boom Boom; aint nothing there.. Go home Boo Boo!!
What is this hoe trippin' about? That song don't sound anything like the BEP's, she crazy. Besides if we really tryna get technical why she steal part of a cheerleading song.. Boom, Dynamite??? Yeah get over yourself girl, BEP's song sounded way better anyways, we can actually groove to it. NEXT!
idk. The cheerleading squad looks like some backyard 1962 homemade cam stuff...So @ least they should cheese it that BEP made em famous.
