Attorneys for estate administrators John Branca and John McClain on Thursday filed papers opposing Joe Jackson's efforts to get more than 15,000 dollars a month from his son's estate.
The filing states Joe Jackson has failed to show that his superstar son supported him while he was alive.
The filings also note that the singer omitted his father as a beneficiary in his will and trust, and that any money paid to Joe Jackson would reduce the estate's assets available for Michael Jackson's mother and children.

I may be wrong but I think he should get something. After all, he did raise MJ and he was not a dead beat dad nor did he run out on them. It is not like he wasn't a part of his life growing up. I understand that he was mean and ruled with an iron fist but in that era that is what he thought was right probably because that is how he was raised. Black men back in the day thought like that. I think it is wrong for them to turn thier back on Joe like this....give him a little money and let him keep some dignity in his old age. He could have left Katherine with all them babies and where would they be now??? So many men did and still do!!

Him staying and doing all that damage physically, mentally and emotionally was just as phucked up as leaving and being a dead beat. This is the 1st pic since MJ's death, where Joe is not grinnin from ear to ear. I guess that judgement knocked the smile off his face. Katherine still loves Joe and best believe she gonna give him a little sumthin sumthin, but folks won't know about it. With everything put aside, without Joe there'd be no Jackson 5. Errybody would still be in Gary, Indiana living in that teeny tiny house.
He's not entitled to anything. I'm sure Katherine will keep giving him money like she did when MJ was alive. I'm sure he saw dollar signs when he heard MJ was dead which is why he was so happy about his new record label he was going to run using MJ's $.
