Following an overnight flight from New York City, a spotty looking Alicia Keys was seen arriving at Heathrow Airport in London this morning (February 16).
The Put It In a Love Song singer proudly made her way through the terminal without a speck of makeup ahead of her peformance this evening alongside Jay-Z at the 2010 Brit Awards.
Here’s hoping that her performance is nothing like what it was at the recent NBA All-Star Game halftime show!
Meanwhile, Jay has revealed that his long-time collaborator Mary J. Blige was initially considered for Alicia’ feature on Empire State of Mind.
The rapper was apparently “two seconds” away from giving Mary the call.

I still think Alicia Keys without makeup looks WAYYYYY better than Mariah Carey without makeup. Seeing Mariah in Precious almost made me puke!!! Alicia doesn't look bad in these pics though!!!
He should have went with Mary. I've never felt Alicia's sound. Too pop neo-soul light for my tastes.

All the heavy makeup could be what caused her to break out. Gotta let your skin breathe! She looks like she has really oily skin though too. Oh well. Everything is an ILLUSION. It's fucked up that little girls (and some grown women) try to attain perfection emulating everything these hollywood broads say, wear, & do, when all the while, they just as flawed as the rest of us.
A Keys has always had acne it's not because of the makeup although I'm sure the makeup they use to hide her acne only makes it worse.
acne is an inherited disease. all you can do is try to control it.... you will have it all of your life, its trigger by stress, hormones, and a lot of other things.... but people dont know this because the average person will stop having break outs by their early 20's.... my grand daddy had it, so did my aunt, and my father...and i have it. sometimes like a. keys, you get tired of going to the dr every month, putting harsh cremes on ur face or talking pills that make women have severely deformed kids.... im sure she said, to hell with it... i was 40 before i stop having major break outs....
I don't feel the same way about AK anymore. I used to appreciate her lyrics and felt it was coming from a genuine place. Her personality was manufactured just like most of today's music. She just like all these other hoes and only gives a damn about herself. Without their 50 stylists working on these celebrities from head to toe, they look tired and busted. The average person looks so much better and needs to stop glorifying these fakers.
