How long would you wait to see Mariah Carey? 1 hour? 2?
Mariah Carey was nearly two hours late for her final concert in Las Vegas. The diva had problems with her vocal cords and demanded to see her doctor before she finally got on stage at the Pearl Concert Theater Saturday night. But Carey still had energy for her after-party at club Haze. A source said, "Ciara was performing as Mariah arrived, so she waited in the car, saying she didn't want to upstage her." Finally inside, Carey danced and drank champagne until she received a text from hubby Nick Cannon saying, "Come home." Mariah raced back to their hotel.

Mariah looks wide in that tutu-dress get up. She need not wear that again, plus that Diva crap she's pulling is so played out. Just do your damn job and perform for people that paid their hard earned money to see you.
She been on her way out for some time now. Being too cute for your own good, always make for the cutee the loser. They would had to give me my money back. She too old for this shit and she's not that good anymore.
Hell naw I wouldn't wait to see Mariah Carey! She was great when she started, I was a fan! But now you couldn't pay me to go see her, no thank you! I agree 2:57, she is too old for that shit, especially for wearing clothes that are two sizes too small for her.
I saw her at her Dallas leg of the tour (last Thursday) which was held at the Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Our tickets had a time start of 7:30 but we got there 5 mins late. I asked the doorman how much did we miss and he said "Nothing yet...you're good". So I felt relieved. Well needless to say the Mimi "stans" were out in full force and it became 8:15 and still no Mariah. They kept playing Michael Jackson tunes on the loudspeaker and I think I heard "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" at least 8 times. Well, we were all still sitting there and at 8:30 her opening act came out (I still don't remember who they were, but they could sing). Then it was back to listening to the Michael Jackson tributes and all of a sudden everyone started to "boo" when "ABC" began to play for the 3 time and they were screaming "Mariah". Still no MiMi. I just assumed she was back there getting her "tispy" on.
At this point it was 9pm and I was thinking about just heading to the box office to get my money back (because I had work in the morning) and chucked it up as a loss determined to just listen to her at home on I-Tunes or something (not a big deal). Well, then it became 9:15 and finally the house lights went down and the crowd went hysterical. I've never IN MY LIFE seen anything like it before. Never! She sung her butt off (literally) until 10:50 (I was back home by 11:15). It was a good show but I will probably never do that again.
That's why I hate Prince no longer tours the US, he and his opening acts were ALWAYS on time. I arrived at his Vegas show 10+ yrs ago and five min. after the start time, Larry Graham was about to go into his 2nd song.
Whatever I doubt Nick texted her to "come home". Mariah wears the pants in that relationship. Plus I'm sure he was glad she was out and not at home ordering him around.
