That's nasty. My family on both sides raised cousins 1st, 2nd, 3rd on down like brother and sister. I would never think of doing anything like that with any member of my family. Although one of my cousins wives was jealous of me and my sisters around our cousin. Maybe they do a lot of cousin kissing in her family.

Ahhhh man! Let me tell you guys my story. I grew up in Alabama where they say that stuff is legal and I admit that I fell into the trap with my very own first cousin (my mother's sister daughter). We carried on a "relationship" for years and there was never any acknowledgement that we were actually cousins. Ironically, nobody in our family ever called us on it. They just let us do our thing. But I'm sure they talked behind our back. I think the real problem was alcohol (we all drank a lot), because when I finally sobered up years later and realized what I had done, it really bothered me a lot and gave me lots of sleepless nights.
I didn't live with my cousin. But I spent practically every free hour that I had at her house throughout my teenage years.
My cousin was absolutely gorgeous but I know this is no excuse for what I did. The yuckiest part about it is that we used to make out right in from of my mother!!! The only thing my mother every said to me was, "you know that my sister's child". After that she dropped the case and didn't speak on it anymore. My father never said on single word about it as far as I know. The final sad thing was that we had a healthy baby girl and they just accepted her like they did any other grandchild.
And yes, I have been in therapy for the last 25 years.
My cousin to me was like a drug that I just couldn't let go of. When I see her now I am fine until I get a drink of liquor in me. Then the process starts all over again. So lord help me!!!
