Well the song is portraying Rihanna to be powerful and in control, she rides on the back of the lion which wears a crown. A lion wearing a crown is a symbol found on badges like the royal arms, to show authority and control and a walking lion crowned is the emblem of england (which means "deathless courage"), Rihanna is riding the lion to show that she has authority and control, over what..
