Funny man Mapa to become a dad.
MARLEY & ME actor ALEC MAPA has become a father after adopting a child with his husband.
The gay comedian, 45, wed his longtime partner Jamison Hebert in 2008, when same sex marriage was briefly made legal in California, and the couple recently added to the family after taking in a five-year-old boy.
Mapa broke the news during an appearance on U.S. talk show The View on Friday (23Jul10), stating, "We became foster adopt parents this year. My husband's white, my son's black, I'm Asian!"
Gay marriage was outlawed in the state of California following the Proposition 8 ruling just months after its legislation.
