This is a ghetto low budget mess. SO now he has taken what was a serious issue and made a joke out of it. They even got him to throw on a raggedy wife beater and grease up his lips. When are we as a people going to say NO to being pimped out??? Seems to me he should've used some of that money to find his sister's "alleged" intruder. I'm still side eyeing that story.
I have to say I agree with the comments. I understand that he's trying to make $$ for his fam, but where do you draw the line? The original story seemed genuine and the clothing he wore for the news story is just what he had on at the time- after a rough night fighting the intruder. It IS kinda what made the original news story a little comical. Hopefully he didn't go around looking like that every day and he shouldn't allow the corporate world to "freeze frame" that image to sell their product. He is selling out... looking stupid doing it, and embarassing his African American community.
Come on son... it was funny at first, but damn ...have some self respect...make them respect you. You could have pitched the app in normal clothing. People will recognize you without the wife beater and red rag on ya damn head. Is this the image you want to be known for for the rest of your life? REALLY???
When I first saw the story on the youtube I knew that they were not going to catch the intruder. Do ever catch intruders in the projects? Do they even try? It only makes sense that he actually moved before they caught the intruder. I've never seen police dust for prints in the projects. I think that was just for tv....
I doubt that the rapist will think twice before trying that in Lincoln Park....so in a way he maybe saved someone else down the line from the same turmoil by going on tv.
But this is borderline. He's been looking all polished all over the place and for this commercial he has a wife beater and lip gloss? what? I can understand milking the 15 minutes of fame but this is too much.
God bless him. Not everything is hood. He is a segment in population of the area he is representing. The apps he is promoting should help everyone who is concern about predators. If u are not concerned then don't buy it.
