Singer Brandy dominated on Monday night's rock-themed edition of Dancing With The Stars - her tango set to Bonnie Tyler’s I Want a Hero, and top score in a bonus round, made her the night's highest scorer with 36 overall points.
The night had a special bonus round in which dancers received points for their individual dance, as well as a dance marathon. Brandy, with pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, received 26 for her solo dance and won the marathon, adding another 10 points to her overall score.
The 31-year-old singer -- who Tweeted she felt "confident and inspired" prior to taking the floor Monday night -- lived up to her words, as her smooth steps earned her praise from the judges and cheers from the fans.
“You’re my hero,” judge Len Goodman told Chmerkovskiy after the near-flawless routine. “You’ve come out with a dance that’s full of intensity, passion, aggression. Without a doubt for me, the dance of the night.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli chimed in with, “That tango really rocked!”
Following the show, Brandy Tweeted, "Thank you to all the stars and fans who vote and believe in @MaksimC and I!! We love you so much!!"
Other scores on the evening included Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani with 32; Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke with 30; Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer with 30; Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough with 29; Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas with 23; and Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunbskaya with 22.
Heart and Kylie Minogue are slated to perform when Dancing With The Stars' eleventh season continues with the results show on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c.

To me Brady lacks grace when she dance and the dance steps look hell of an easy. She is not a real dancer which I think that she did state.

Ummm...Am I the only 1 on this planet that feels DWTS is for washed up celebrities and whomever wins or loses end up doing NOTHING with their career afterwards???? Why is Brandy so damn proud of this shit?? This WILL NOT boost your washed up career...I just don't get it!!! Mofo's watching this shit should really consider getting a CABLE!
BTW - I have NEVER watched an episode of this, but Brandy still looks good from forehead down (sorry, but she has fucked up wigs) - I would still give it to her, but she needs to quit the bullshit.
@ Alwayz.... are you serious? I know that DWTS is for washed up celebrities, but that's why they go on. You have it backwards. Many of the celebs that have appeared, have REGENERATED their careers. Marie Osmond is all of the damn place. So is her brother, Donnie. So is Mario Lopez (Hosts So You Think You Can Dance AND Entertainment tonight). Lisa Rhinna got a gig doing red carpet interviews, she also did some show about fashion and NOW has a new reality show with her husband. Her husband was on DWTS last season.
Brandy has a reality show and I hear she has new music coming. I think she's trying to stay in the spotlight so when her music drops - she wants the public to remember her so they'll go out and cop....
