Giselle Bundchen Denies Cheating

Giselle says the man she was caught kissing is a dear old friend. Nothing to worry about. Her marriage is fine.

After photos emerged last week of Gisele Bundchen in a very compromising position with another man, fans were quick to question if the supermodel's marriage to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was in trouble.

Bundchen, 30, was photographed nearly kissing a mystery man last Friday at the Vogue 90th anniversary party in Paris. According to Boston.com, the model's mystery party companion is Helly Nahmad, an art dealer in New York City.

A rep for Bundchen helped clear the confusion, telling UsMagazine.com that there are "no worries" since Nahmad has been a friend of the model's for 15 years.

"[He was] her first New York friend when she moved here," the rep told the mag.

Nahmad, who once dated fellow Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros, is said to be fluent in Portuguese and was "the only one [Gisele] could speak to [when] she spoke no English," the rep continued, adding that "he is very much part of her close circle of friends."

Nahmad also took the matter into his own hands by explaining his longtime friendship with the supermodel to Brazilian newspaper O Dia.

"Gosh, it was a kiss on the cheek," he told the paper, according to The Huffington Post, claiming that cameras caught the pair at a misleading angle.

Nahmad, who says he was responsible for introducing Bundchen to ex-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio, added that the model's NFL star husband even saw the photo in question and laughed.

Bundchen and Brady, who tied the knot last year, welcomed son, Benjamin, last December.
