Anna Nicole Smith's lawyer/boyfriend Howard K. Stern guilty of excessively drugging Anna.
HOWARD K STERN, the lawyer boyfriend of ANNA NICOLE SMITH, has been found guilty of providing excessive prescriptions of drugs to the late model and actress.
After 58 hours of deliberations over almost two weeks, the jury's split decision came yesterday (28th October 2010), convicting Stern and Smith's psychiatrist KHRISTINE EROSHEVICH, reports the New York Daily News.
Smith's doctor, Sandeep Kapoor, was also on trial , but he was acquitted of all charges. 41-year-old Stern, who was Smith's lawyer, manager, and boyfriend, was convicted of giving false names in order to obtain prescriptions for the model, however, he was cleared of seven other charges against him. After being found guilty, he said, "Everything relating to the appropriateness of the medication I was acquitted of". It is currently unclear how much time Stern and Eroshevich could face in prison.
The defence in the case argued that the model had battled chronic pain and illness and required the drugs for legitimate reason. Smith was found dead in her Florida hotel room in 2007 from an 'accidental overdose'.

Good! This so called lawyer was nothing more than a drug pusher and all around weirdo. Seriously, this nut case even tried to claim the little girl as his own. I believe he'd given drugs to her son as well. He was such a creep!

He's responsible for Anna and her son's death, providing drugs to both of em. There were instances Anna didn't want to take any drugs and he'd manipulate her into doing it, so he could control her. How can this sorry piece of shit live with himself. I always thought he was a douche. He's weird & reminds me of those sick people that like having sex with dead people.
I hope the same justice can be done for Michael. Glad this creep has been found guilty. I have always had a bad feeling about this dude. What lawyer is with his client girlfriend (questionable) 24 hr/day? He is creepy!! Good riddance!!
I always thought he was up to something! For Anna to marry his creepy ass, she had to be high... Her son probably realized that he was a doucher, and for that, Howard had to shut his little ass up too! Such a sad, messed up ending.

There is no difference between this story and Lyndsay Lohan's except Lyndsay's enabler is her mom.
Everything about this dude has been fake, from him being her lawyer and knowing better that he could be implicated for the drug situation,to him being the father of their child (which proved to be wrong). It seems like he has been holding on to this poor woman from all along. Finally her soul can rest and he cannot hang on to her (memory) and life anymore!! RIP Anna--ThatBKChick

I know him and he use to give me oxycontin whenever I asked for it have also been in the house and smoked it with the son with Anna walking in and out of the bathroom taking a hit here and there and asking if I can get more not caring what her son wS doing and not knowing it was her stuff. All the while Howard watching tv and Anna but never saw him tale any drugs but seen him trying to touch Anna when she was high no matter was there watching.Twice I seen it go a little further
