Alarmed, Nick blasted his superstar wife Mariah after she took a frightening onstage spill during a recent concert in Singapore, sparking fears of a miscarriage, an insider revealed to The ENQUIRER.
The Grammy-winning diva - who wore loose clothes to conceal what looks like an expanding waistline - was singing her hit "Make It Happen" on Sept. 26 when she suddenly lost her balance and hit the stage floor.
The 40-year-old songstress and her husband Nick, 29, have been desperately trying to have a baby since they married more than two years ago.
But the tension between the couple is growing because Mariah refuses to put the brakes on her career to concentrate on starting a family.
"She's not getting any younger," an insider said.
It may be her last chance to be a mother.

If Mariah is serious about having a baby, she would put the babies needs ahead of touring and all of the physical demands that it puts on her body. Her doctor just needs to put her on mandatory bed rest.

I am 40 years old and I am currently in menopause. I would have never thought that would happen to me at 40. Luckily I had my children before I was 30 years old. So I am not worried about having anymore children but I did not think the choice would be taken from me so soon. I still have a cycle just not regularly and my doctor said it would be impossible to get pregnant. I am saying all that to say if Mariah is seriously trying to conceive and has had some trouble her age could be a huge factor in the matter.
