Nicki Minaj has released the art work for her new album cover.
It’s Barbie, bitch! With her highly-anticipated debut Pink Friday about a month away, Nicki Minaj gets dolled up on the album’s cover. Alarmingly staring at the camera, the Harajuku Barbie takes the pink motif to the extreme, sitting armless on the ground with her elongated legs in a flowing silver corset, pink stilettos, and a stark pink wig.
The album, originally due November 23, was pushed up a day to Monday, putting her in direct competition with releases from Kanye West (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy), Akon (Stadium), Jay-Z (The Hits Collection Vol. 1), and Ne-Yo (Libra Scale).
The LP has already spawned the chart-topping hit “Your Love,” as well as “Right Thru Me,” the will.i.am-assisted “Check It Out,” and “Massive Attack.”
