RIHANNA has spoken of her disappointment after she was forced to miss KATY PERRY's wedding at the weekend (23Oct10) due to work commitments.
The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker married British funnyman Russell Brand in India on Saturday (23Oct10) and Rihanna, who organised Perry's bachelorette party, was expected to be a guest at the ceremony.
The Umbrella hitmaker was unable to fly out for her friend's big day because of work, and she's glad her pal was so understanding.
She tells Access Hollywood, "I didn't get to go to the wedding. Luckily, Katy is in the same industry as me, so she understands and she knows how it can get.
"But I was fortunate enough to be able to throw her bachelorette party, so I got to be involved somehow."
