She was said to be furious with her husband after he revealed intimate details of their marriage during a radio interview, but now Courteney Cox is the one telling all as she reveals that she is not planning to get divorced.
In a candid interview, the Cougar Town star has spoken of the heartache behind her estrangement from husband David Arquette, and despite him publicly admitting he has slept with another woman, she insists it is only a 'trial separation.'
Adding fuel to suggestions of a reconciliation, the actress was spotted today wearing her wedding ring.
‘I would say the most courageous thing, and this is really personal, but I would say getting separated from someone after so many years of marriage and someone I love so much, just to take a moment and this is a trial separation,' the actress says.
'This is not - I am not - we’re not - I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced.'
'This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage,' Courteney, 46, told TV Week magazine.
'That’s for sure the biggest thing I’ve ever done. Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.'

Her 39-year-old husband David Arquette was forced to apologise for revealing too much after telling radio shock jock Howard Stern on his radio show that the couple had not had sex for four months.
