Disney superstar DEMI LOVATO drops out of tour, checks into treatment center for "cutting" and anorexia, according to reports.
The 18 year old was on tour with the Jonas Brothers as their "special guest" when she abruptly quit the tour.
AP reports she entered treatment because of an eating disorder and cutting herself - an act usually cause by extreme emotional distress and often seen as a cry for help.
In the past Demi has been romantically linked with Joe Jonas whom she starred with in Camp Rock the two later broke up, "remaining good friends".
Lovato also has been candid about her problems in middle school, having left because she was mercilessly bullied.
"It was more verbal harassment than physical abuse, but that's actually more scarring than anything," she said. "And I had to leave because I just couldn't deal with it."
Lovato is receiving treatment at a undisclosed treatment center specializing in psychological disorders.
"Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help," her rep told media.
"She is doing just that."

Disney is a mess. She's been coking it up, cutting herself, and hooking up with adult men for a while now. The other rumor has been that she's gay. So all the undercover coking and shoring is ok but the moment she fights with her girlfriend it's a problem
I hope they don't, but I'm sure that Disney is gonna kick her to the curb now. Once you're no longer cute and cuddly, but an actual human being with feelings, problems, and emotions, they no longer have a need for you.
I'm just wondering how this could have happened. From what I was told, all of the Disney stars stay on a compound where they are chaperoned and watched like a hawk. The execs at Disney aren't stupid. They know how teens are so they pay a lot of money to make sure that their stars stay out of trouble.

Um, Raven Symone used to frequent MTV (when it was once a reputable and prolific channel), and I've seen her get interviewed by a number of yt interviewers (most recently in Australia). So to say that yt ppl don't care about her is ridiculous.
But I forget that having class, staying out of trouble, and not popping coochie = irrelevance.
Raven was just part of the Disney World like many others, but she was never a big star like Demi Levato.

Raven is doing something right! She's been working since she 2, cosby show anybody??? She had her own show, cd's, movies and is still relevant. Trust and belive yt is checking for her because she is bankable and has sold millions of movies, cd's, books and dvd's.

Celebrities are just like us....im sure tons of you people have gone through problems in your childhood and teen years....so what if she had an eating disorder and cuts? half the teenage girls these days do because they cant look perfect and get bullied for it..at least Demi is strong and can admit it and take responsibility for it before this gets out of hand.. i for one am PROUD of Demi Lovato and she is a big INSPERATION to me and should be to all teenage girls...
