R&B star Beyoncé's mother and father are reportedly not getting divorced.
According to TMZ
.com, the Halo singer’s parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles, don’t appear to be divorcing – for now at least.
A trial was meant to take place yesterday in Houston Texas at the Harris County courthouse, but the couple failed to show up, resulting in the judge dismissing the case.
It is not yet known whether the pair have reconciled or just forgot to attend, but it looks as if their no-show would have been a conscious decision to drop divorce proceedings as they had both engaged lawyers to represent them.
Tina reportedly filed for divorce in November 2009 – one month after Mathew was hit with a paternity suit by Alexsandra Wright.
A DNA test later proved that the child was his.
