Pink is Absolutely Positively Pregnant

Pink confirms her pregnancy on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She's a two-time Grammy award-winning singer and PETA activist. And now, pop star Pink is about to add another title to the list: new mom.

The 31-year-old singer revealed on Wednesday's "Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she and husband Carey Hart, 35, are expecting their first child together.

"Seriously, why do you think you're glowing?" DeGeneres asked the singer.

"I'm eating for two these days," Pink replied coyly.
The announcement comes amid tabloid speculation after photos showed the usually-toned singer standing in the ocean and sporting what appeared to be the first sign of a baby bump.

Pink went on to tell DeGeneres that she initially refrained from announcing the news because she was "really nervous."

"I have had a miscarriage before," she told the talk show host. "But if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be you."

Does the singer know whether she'll be attiring her first child in baby blue or her namesake color?

Pink said she doesn't know the sex of the child, but her doctor may have inadvertently tipped her off.

"I'm terrified because she thinks it's a girl," Pink half-jokingly revealed. "My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I'm terrified one of us will go to jail!"

Though Pink and her husband have endured rocky times during their union -- the pair split in 2008 and rekindled their romance a year later -- she says the two are going strong.

"We had our little meltdowns, a couple of them," she said. "We both needed to do that and come back together."
