Rihanna made up to Katy Perry for skipping her wedding by giving her an all expenses paid trip to Tokyo.
RIHANNA has bought a second honeymoon for KATY PERRY and RUSSELL BRAND - to make up for missing their big day.
The Bajan singer felt so guilty about working during her pal's wedding, she has splashed out on an all-expenses paid trip to Tokyo for the newlyweds.
The five-star treat has set the singer back a cool £30,000 - but the giving doesn't stop there.
She has also coughed up for matching gold bangles with their intitials and the date of their nuptials carved on the inside.
A source said: "Rihanna hasn't stopped apologising since the wedding day. She told Katy she'd been racking her brains about how to make it up to them.
"She knows how much Katy loves Tokyo, so this way she could give them a trip they would always remember."
Rihanna, Russ and Katy happened to be in the same country on the same day at the same time this week.
Rihanna has been in London promoting her new album Loud. The first single from it, Only Girl (In The World), is battling with TAKE THAT's comeback single The Flood to keep the top spot in tomorrow's singles chart.
Katy's here promoting her new fragrance while her hubby has been in a relentless string of meetings about film roles, telly and radio work.
When the three met up at The Dorchester yesterday, the ice was broken pretty quickly with Russ joking that his missus had already deleted her bridesmaid from her mobile phone.
But joking aside, Rihanna has been incredibly generous.
Her gift includes four nights of pampering in the £1,500-a-night Dynasty suite at Tokyo's famous Mandarin Oriental hotel and first class flights.
