Celebrities pose in coffins and go off line in 'Digital Death' for World AIDS Day.
Alicia Keys has been photographed lying dead in a coffin while holding her cell phone for the Digital Life Sacrifices campaign. A series of ads featuring the "If I Ain't Got You" hitmaker and a slew of other celebrities has popped out just a day before they signed off Twitter and Facebook to raise awareness for World AIDS Day and money for her Keep a Child Alive.Jacked from Celebrity Mania
The "Fallin' " singer will go on a hiatus from her micro-blogging accounts starting on December 1 and won't return until $1 million is collected. Joining her in the charity effort are the likes of Lady GaGa, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Kim Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Swizz Beatz.
In addition to the digital death photos, the 29-year-old songstress and fellow celebrities taking part in the campaign have taped their last tweet and testament. In the video, they announce their "death" and encourage their fans to "buy" their digital lives back by visiting Buy Life or sending a text of a celeb's name to 90999.

Please show your support for World AIDS Day and check out this HIV/AIDS PSA @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlyJBiHvqNg. Protect your life. Wear condoms!
All of these celebrities can give the million dollars themselves. Please support a lot of causes and mistreatment of other people. I get tried of poeple trying to push other in a certain direction when the truth is that they do follow these practices in everyday life.
If you were going to give to someone you would give to someone close because they need it not because someone put a campaign together. Real giving is from the heart not because you want to jump on some bandwagon.
ANOTHER stupid ass attention whore. I use to like Alicia but can't stand her dumb homewrecking ass.
All the people named can give 1 million dollars, fuck Alicia, begging from people who are trying to make ends meet.
Fuck em all.
Mofo's don't need to play with "death".
451 Say it again. Mocking death is NO JOKE!! This was a Horrid Ad.
Some of them really look dead. They don't know your not suppose to play with death! It could have been done another way. They couldn't even pay me to do this. This just confuses spirits.
why couldn't they just all donate a million that would add up to more
I know Mashonda is framing that pic of Alicia Keys dead in a casket and placing it on her fire place mantel!
lol @7:34. if it'll keep these assholes from twittering, i say we shouldn't donate a damned thing.
and i agree, i don't play with death. if i were a celeb, i'd be willing to lay off of twitter or facebook, but there's no way in hell that you'd get me to lay in a coffin and take a picture. i'm not religious either, but i sure don't play with the spirits.
I'm getting bored with all of these 90999 or 666 rebirth rituals. These entertainers are just energy vampires.
I agree with what everyone on this blog and other blogs have been saying about this stupid campaign she ak is doing, these people can afford to put that money together, they need to stay out of my pocket because I don't have it, and if I did have it I would not give it to her, I don't respect her, or none of the other devil worshiping people that she got to do this campaign with her, they are all playing with death, she ak smiling, swiss beaks is throwing up the peace sign, jennifer hudsons dumb ass talking about pay for her to be resurrected please. There was a reason the older people used to say stay out of wheelchairs, off crutches, lying down in coffins, because you could end up in them for real, it's obvious that ak and all of them are playing with death, they don't believe that it's real, I say let them keep on playing, because I ain't giving her nothing, I think it's great that all of them stay off twitter forever, I don't want to hear anything she has to say anyway.and ak broke her twitter commitment in less than 24 hours thats what was said on rhymeswithsnitch.com.
David La Chappelle already looks dead and whomever did Ryan Seacrests make up did a good job because he looks really dead.
This campaign is dumb. I could give a flying fuck if any of these people I don't know ever tweet again in life. This isn't like the local fund raisers where in town celebs are "locked up" and they can't be released until their "bail" is paid. Their co-workers, family, and friends pay that. I have no vested interest in these people to want to pay even $1.
i lost my mom to aids ..I think this is a mockery...just away for them to get publicity....I like the idea of raising money but this is not so cool.....WOW
Kim K and Ray J had sex on camera with no protection. Alisha Keys just had a baby...and so on. These celebrities don't give a shit about Aids, if so then they would use protection while having sex...
@1:38
That's a great point!
I think people would be more receptive if they took into consideration the celebs they picked and also if the celebs donated themselves. Their last tweets should have been, "Hey my twit/facebook followers I just donated 50k to this charity and I pledged that my followers will match me". These are hard times and no one is trying to shell out cash for a charity outside of their family circle. My mom needs help paying her mortgage why should I donate to a cause that these people haven't donated to themselves? Also to touch on the celebs they picked half of these people I don't know and of the ones I do some of them I don't like and I know a lot of other people don't like them. I won't get on Alicia and Swiss because the white community turned a blind eye to their home wrecking and adultry. Kim Kardashian is so hated why would anyone want to pay so she can get back on twitter? This thing is total fail. I wonder how long the celebs thought they'd be off of twitter.
