George Lucas Believes the World Will End in 2012

Actor Seth Rogen says film maker George Lucas truly believes the world will end in 2012.
Funnyman Seth Rogen was left stunned by a recent encounter with his moviemaking hero George Lucas - because the Star Wars director spent 20 minutes telling him the world would end in 2012.

Rogen was left speechless when Lucas and Steven Spielberg joined a movie meeting he was a part of - but the encounter has left him worried his life will be over next year.

He recalls, “George Lucas sits down and seriously proceeds to talk for around 25 minutes about how he thinks the world is gonna end in the year 2012, like, for real.

He thinks it.

“He’s going on about the tectonic plates and all the time Spielberg is, like, rolling his eyes, like, ’My nerdy friend won’t shut up, I’m sorry...’

“I first thought he (Lucas) was joking... and then I totally realized he was serious and then I started thinking, ’If you’re George Lucas and you actually think the world is gonna end in a year, there’s no way you haven’t built a spaceship for yourself...

So I asked him... ’Can I have a seat on it?’

“He claimed he didn’t have a spaceship, but there’s no doubt there’s a Millennium Falcon in a garage somewhere with a pilot just waiting to go... It’s gonna be him and Steven Spielberg and I’ll be blown up like the rest of us.”

2012 is NOT the end of the world! Since the start of mankind, man has always swore they were living in the last days and they were all WRONG! Does anyone remember how crazy some ppl were acting around y2k, and not a thing happened! Besides if 2012 is the end of the world (which I highly doubt) then there's no need to freak out because when it's your time it's your time and there's nowhere to run or hide and there's nothing you can do about it. But like I said 2012 is not the end of the world because the bible says the lord will come back at the end of the world, but it says he will come like a theif in the night which means no one knows when he's coming.

Watching all the Nostradamus docs on the History Channel (#dontjudgeme), I don't believe the world will per se "end" in 2012, but I do believe that this cusp of a time period (2010-2014,15...) we will see major shifts in pretty much all aspects of our lives (another possible financial collapse, agricultural conflict, gov't continues to distracts us more from them secretly "Big Brother"-ing us). Just look around: our world problems are piling up on us at a rapid pace. Our infrastructure needs a massive overhaul, we need jobs, government spending is still outta control, public education is steady declining...

No the world won't physically end in 2012, but I'm sure our children will look back on our time period and collectively say "What the fuck were y'all thinking?!?" It's time to wake up and solve our problems.

I do believe that the time is near but I don't think it will be in 2012 but something may began to form around that time. A lot of people think that War World III is starting to form.

If he believes he's going to perish, he will. But ITA w/9:44. The last major shift like this was during the end of the hippie/peace period. We went from peace and love to this horrible war mongering greed state coupled w/this deranged Christianity, w/the entree of the Nixon-Regan-Bush period in the US. So I'm hoping it's a HUGE shift back to what's real, true and meaningful in life. Some ppl won't be able to make that shift and probably will die, b/c they are so tied to illusion, but the world will be so much better b/c of it. Purge, baby, purge.

of course they mean this in the psychological sense. it is possible. just think of all the " end of days" events that are happening. great story material!
