Plans for Tiger Woods' signature golf course put on hold indefinitely.

TIGER WOODS, who was dropped by several sponsors in the wake of his apparent infidelities and subsequent divorce, will no longer be opening 'The Tiger Woods Dubai' course as planned, after developers put a halt to the project, reports the UK's Guardian newspaper.
The $1.1 billion golf and property development was initially due to open in late 2009, however, the global financial crisis meant it was postponed. However, Woods' hopes that the complex would be completed in the near future were dashed after 'Dubai Properties' issued a statement confirming that developers had ceased work, adding, "This decision was based on current market conditions that do not support high-end luxury real estate. These conditions will continue to be monitored and a decision will be made in the future when to restart the project". As well as the golf course itself, the project was also set to feature a boutique hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Over the past year, Woods has lost some of his biggest commercial sponsors such as AT&T, the financial film Accenture, Gillette and Golf Digest, however, sports giants Nike have stuck by him.
Back in 2010, after the National Enquirer had revealed details of Woods apparent infidelities, the golfer was forced to make a televised public apology to his family, friends, and supporters. In August 2010, he finalised his divorce from wife ELIN NORDEGREN.

We all need to learn that sometimes our action have even longer consequences. Thinking about the things that you choose to get into before you choose leap is a critical thinking skills that most people lack. Stop believing the hype and stop being people pleasure because at the end of the day you pay the price alone.
$1.1 B... certainly this has just as much to do w/the economy. But spin how you will.
I doubt that it is about tiger woods, it is the economy stupid!
