I'm a white boy that knows more about black culture from the inside out than would make most on this site comfortable. It's because I'm real, my friends are real and I been around. I'm not afraid to be real and stand my ground. You can't scare me by trying to label me and marginalize my views. I spit the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and this boi won't stand down. I'm not afraid of anyone with ABMS like most white people have been conditioned to be. You can't get loud and shut me down. And when you try to clown on me with your childish name calling, I just laugh.
Now to the point. We all have the same creator, we are all fruit from the same tree. We are brothers and sisters, even if we are too stupid to see and admit it. Harboring hatred of "devils" inside and teaching that too your children is robbing them of King's dream. We should never forget our history, but we should not let some rich and powerful race baiters use it to control us for generations to come.
I can't stand Kanye because I think he is a childish fool. That doesn't mean I can't listen to his music. So he's dating a white girl. Big deal. I'm an outsider. I'm not black, I will never know what it is like to be black. I respect and love all my brothers and sisters, black, white, asian, hispanic, whatever. We were all created in our fathers image. No matter how wrong or misguided we may be. If you think I'm stupid and misguided, please forgive me instead of giving into cultural pressure and labeling me.
The fact of the matter is and lets be real. If you put white and black folks together and you want to be free enough not to have to think 24X7 politically correct and "racially sensitive" (whatever that means). Someone is going to say something that should be harmless that can be construed by the other as hurtful. What needs to change is that unless someone really meant to be ugly in what was said, we need to be adults and forgiving and actually talk about it.
I grew up this way, my mother told me to love and respect everyone. She led by example. If I treated someone different because of how they talked or looked, I would get a beat down.
We need to make an effort to teach our children to love and respect everyone. Not to be suspect of someone just because of their skin color. That goes for whites and blacks. Don't think I don't notice that I have to prove myself to be "one of the good ones".
And I will leave you with this. Sistas please stop hating on those white girls and start dating a white man. There are manly white men. If you don't agree, you need to holla at ya boi.

Many white men (and plenty of other men of other races) are willing to date and marry black women. We are the ones that are not willing to give them the chance. I know because I almost f*cked up a good relationship with a good man because I was scared of what other people would think. I'm over it now and love being treated like a queen by my white and Arabic husband.
