Last night, I had a meeting with an A&R and got some interesting news about what's going on behind the scenes with the whole Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z situation.
Apparently, Beyonce is gearing up to sign with Roc Nation management which has caused a rift between Rihanna & Jay-Z. With Jay-Z managing Beyonce his attention will not be on Rihanna as it once was so there is some friction happening between the two. In the meeting he talked about the strategic move in Rihanna's team to move away from Jay-Z so she won't have to compete with Beyonce because she and her team knows that once Beyonce is with Roc Nation all the resources that were once allotted to Rihanna will shift to Beyonce. Not only is this the reason why Beyonce fired her father but Beyonce is also gearing up to leave her label.
Don't be surprised when you start hearing about tension between the two (Rihanna & Jay-Z) and when you start to see Rihanna start to distance herself from Jay. It's about to get very interesting to say the least.

The real truth is that, Rhianna jumped ship to Roc Nation AFTER Willow Smith was signed. Why? Rhianna was scared Willow was going to outshine her and take her spot. She better calm down before she is out of a job. If she leaves Jay Z, she may as well go hang out with Ciara and "nem" D listers. No exclusive parties, no more songs with good artists, watching everything from the nose bleed section like the Kardashians be looking in.
This could be Rhianna's breaking point. The girl is spiraling out of control and really needs help.
The real reason Beyonce broke away from her dad is because SHE and her HUSBAND are trying to build an empire. Bey would like to have a family one day and also have other artists that she could manage. She and Jay are trying to set themselves up for retirement. Is this so hard to believe?
Beyonce's CD's last for almost 2 years every time because her songs are that good! She will one day want to live her life in luxury and just RELAX. This girl has been working since she was about 9 years old and probably performing before that.
