Vogue editor Anna Wintour gave Beyonce the brush off when she tried to dance with her at the Met Gala.
At last year's Met Gala, P. Diddy got Anna Wintour to dance "a little bit," he later confirmed, after photographic proof of the boogying had emerged. Apparently, Jay-Z and Beyoncé made unsuccessful attempts to get her to dance with them at this year's after-party. But of course she didn't want to dance with Beyoncé! Remember how Gaga looked when she had to do that?Jacked from The Cut

Don't worry Beyonce,you can dance with....Deese Nuts!!!!
I guess Beyonce forgot she was black or she forgot who she was dealing with. Whatever the case, I bet she won't forget again.
@8:34 am: COSIGN
Still a nigger!
what does beyonce being black have to do with this story when it says that diddy got her to dance before?!
LMAO!
ANNA WINTOUR IS WHAT YOU CALL
"OLD MONEY"
AND "OLD MONEY" DON'T CARE HOW MUCH A NIGGER GOT YOU STILL AIN'T WHITE!
wake up call
Why do they need to convince her to dance. Is it a tradition at the Gala to get Anna to dance? I don't understand.
11:55 that's what I'm thinking. If that old hag danced with P Shitty and she probably didn't want with Beyaki and Camel. Simple as that. Why are people making this a race thing?
She took one look at beyucky's dress and was like ah heck nah I can't be seen next to a walking urn in public....
WHITE PEOPLE are on to Beyanki and JnoseZ.
JnoseZ is trying to get into WHITE circle. LOL!!
The only WHITE Circle JnozeZ will get near are the one's who sniff that WHITE powder.
Who cares that some ancient, antique fossil doesn't want to dance, they were just trying to make her day.
Outside of not wanting 2 smell bleachys toxic breath and jayz upper lip she was probably thinkn dance with bleachy n that dress hellz to the no! Hell bleachy could barely breathe n that ugly dress let alone dance ann most likely didn't wanna be responsible 4 bleachys death caused by axphyxiation induced cardiac arrest cuz that dress was sufficating the hell outta bleachy!!
@11:55 and 2:03
Just because a white woman danced with (or married, fucked, befriended, whatever) a black man doesn't mean she's free from being a racist. Anna Wintour is known for despising black women.
If you want to call me on playing the race card then go at it, but come back with something more than "she danced with Diddy."
TEAM BEY!!!
It was probably that dress.
She is a fashion icon, why would she want to be linked to epic fashion fail.
@7:43: Kick the KNOWLEDGE!!
Especially when a white woman gets to that age, and she is no longer on a pedastal for her looks.
Also, though, if Beyonce asked me to dance, I wouldn't. It's kinda gay.

It's an overrated designer and an overexposed whoremonger. Unless she gave Beyonce a bucket of KFC and a watermelon to do a shuck and jive it's not that serious. Many Black women/people (famous or otherwise) don't like white people either.
And it is important to not play the "race" card all the time, because once an incident occurs where the card warrants a "swipe," it gets declined and no one takes the matter seriously.
Actually i think she didnt want to dance with beyonce because...well she's Beyonce! she has rhythm and is a good dancer. white folks with know rhythm like ms anna will look a foll trying to keep up with a young black person .
7:43 so because she didnt want to dance with beyonce shes a racist and hates all black people?!
can i get 5 people in a room that like Beyonce.. *crickets*
@2:54 am
It would be nice if Wintour was only an overrated designer (i.e., Karl Lagerfield, Vera Wang), then her acts would be treated lightly and barely noticed. Unfortunately, Wintour is one of the most powerful women in the fashion industry worldwide, and what she does and says matter.
Subdued and barely discernible forms or racism, surely, are as important as the blatant acts of watermelon and fried chicken--even in the context of Wintour and Knowles on the dance floor.
Crying wolf? Under most circumstances I would agree, but not when it comes to racism. It's the norm for white people (and some black people) to respond to charges of racism with "you're playing the race card." Thereby accusing black people of trying to gain sympathy or trying to detract from our own shortcomings. That alone is condescending, patronizing and racist.
Like it or not, I decide when I'm no longer oppressed (i.e., I get to call racism when I see it). My oppressor does not have that luxury and I pay little or no attention when I'm told to get over it and stop playing the race card.
Get it Gail, take 'em to school!!
I doubt she tried to dance in that tight ass dress. Not a big deal either way.
