The 20-year-old daughter of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said she underwent corrective jaw surgery in December – just a month after placing third on "Dancing with the Stars."
A slimmer Palin turned heads at the White House Correspondents Dinner on April 30, debuting a thinner face, angular jaw and higher cheekbones. The appearance ignited speculation in the blogosphere that she had plastic surgery.
But she told Us Weekly the procedure was necessary so her jaw and teeth could properly realign.
"Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons," she told the magazine for its May 23 issue.
Palin said while growing up she wore braces and a device to correct an overbite. But her dentist warned her there was a still a possibility she would need surgery one day.
The single mom declared she would never get plastic surgery "unless I got in an accident or something terrible."
But New York-based plastic surgeon Dr. Norman M. Rowe had previously told the Daily News that her nose looked like it too had some work done.
"The tip of her nose is smaller and more feminine," he said. "This gives [it] a less bulbous look ... The bridge of the nose also appears lower. It's not as wide as it previously appeared."
Palin, who recently landed a reality show of her own, said she was happy with her new look.
"I look older, more mature and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face," she said

Oh well, I always say, whatever makes a woman less bitchy, let her do it. If a woman isn't happy with herself, she's going to bring nothing but misery to everyone around her.

She resembles Snooki and that is not a complment. Her chin looks as though she can stab you from a distance.
Am sorry , but Bristol was really cute she is only 20 years old still growing into her looks. There was no need for any surgery, or fixes she was perfect the way she was. I guess her son's father being a grimmey snake, along with that mess of a mother really fucked with her self-esteem, or simply but she sold out to Hollyweird.
