Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon announce baby names using Twitter.
Earlier this week, Mariah Carey Tweeted her baby twins' names would start with the letter M.Jacked from The Providence
The guessing game's been fun, but it stops now. Carey and husband Nick Cannon have decided on what to call the kids, and lucky them, they'll fit in just swell on the playground. Monroe is the couple's newborn girl, and Moroccan Scott is their baby boy.
And as the couple explained in an official announcement on Carey's website, there's some special meaning behind each name. Monroe's name is a tribute to Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, whom the announcement describes as being "an inspiration to Mariah her whole life".
As for baby Moroccan, he should be thankful his mom and dad are big on theme decorating. Apparently the little boy was named after the Moroccan Room in Carey's NYC apartment. (To be fair, Cannon proposed to Carey in said room.)
