Jay Z was supposed to have dinner with David Beckham and he never showed up. Imagine Beck's surprise when Jay was spotted later that night on stage with Young Jeezy.
Jay-Z had to pass on dinner with soccer god David Beckham at Ciano Monday night, presumably to make a surprise appearance at the Highline Ballroom. Sources said the two were expected to dine with a bunch of Beckham's soccer buddies. But Jay never made it to the restaurant, and instead Beckham, who plays for the LA Galaxy and is in town for tonight's MLS All-Star game against his old team, Manchester United, dined with his pals. Jay later performed at the Highline with Kanye West at Young Jeezy's concert. Reps for Jay and the restaurant had no comment.Jacked from Page Six

Its all about making money for Jayz, he can't sign Beckham to ROC Nation, but he can sign Jeezy............think about it!
