The former Destiny's Child singer was previously engaged to American football player Roy Williams, but broke off the relationship in 2005, a year after he proposed.
The singer admits she was "way too young" to wed back then, but now she's 30, she's keen to find her soulmate so she can enjoy the benefits of an intimate, longterm relationship.
She tells Vibe magazine, "I'm ready to be with one man for the rest of my life and have sex five times a day."
But Rowland insists she's not looking for someone in the public eye again, because "that kind of dating is not for me".
And she concedes she will probably stay single for a little while longer, adding, "I really don't feel like I have the time for that (dating) right now."
