Security is said to be so tight for Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries that guests will be required to go through metal detectors before they're allowed to enter the Montecito, Calif., ceremony, according to The Huffington Post.
And that's not all.
All guests, no matter how famous, will reportedly have to hand over their cell phones, cameras and any other recording devices before they can pass the security checkpoint.
The invitees won't even be allowed to drive close to the secret wedding site. According to the gossip site, one insider said, "Everyone, including guests J.Lo and Ryan Seacrest, will park their cars and take fancy shuttle buses up to the venue."
While it might seem a bit harsh of Kardashian on her big day, the noted businesswoman is only doing her best to protect her brand. After all, rights to broadcast the wedding have been sold to E! and rights to print the photos have been sold to People magazine, each reportedly for millions of dollars.
Kardashian is said to be modeling the security at her wedding after what Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston used for their own affair in 2000.
The couple reportedly made their staffs sign confidentiality agreements with six-figure penalties. And that was just on the ground. A Federal Aviation Administration official was also said to be on the ground, monitoring the skies nearby in case too many paparazzi helicopters started to hover.
