Miley Cyrus Battles Fans Over Equality Tattoo

Miley Cyrus got into a row with some of her fans after tattooing the symbol for gay equality on her finger.
Miley Cyrus’s new equal sign tattoo sparked discussions on Twitter over the weekend after the 18-year-old tweeted a photo of the ink along with a message: “All Love is Equal,” reported Us Magazine on Sunday.

Many of her followers responded in praise for her perceived support for LGBT rights. However, others challenged the self-proclaimed Christian’s stance, asking where in the Bible “God says homosexuality” is okay. Cyrus responded, “Where does it say in the Bible to judge others?”

According to Us Magazine, the negative reactions to her support for LGBT rights led her to quit Twitter in 2009.

“I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other,” she told Parade magazine in an interview. “I got such hate mail about being a bad person.”

While body art isn’t for everyone, there are still plenty of ways to show your support for LGBT equality.

I don't really care for her either and I hate when my niece puts her crappy show in my TV when she comes to visit but I admire her gumption. Everyone does have the right to love each other..

I the bible says don't judge other unless you want to be judge since we all have free will in life just like same sex couple wants to be married if you want to judge you can because you have free Will to do so. I think that judge is a part of life and people who want to make wise decision does it appropriately and that does not mean that you have to be nasty or mean about it. At the end of the day we are all going to do what we want to do but that never mean that are our actions don't have consequences.

Well, Miley was sort of right. The bible does say not to judge, but it also is against homosexuality. So if she’s going to have a “bible war” she’s contradicting herself. Little young idiot.

We don't judge the person, but their actions. If we didn't, then there would be no reason for prisons. We wouldn't "judge" thieves, murderers, drug dealers and send them to jail.
