Kim Zolicak is the first Real Housewife of Atlanta to receive her own spin-off.
Following months of speculation, the Huffington Post is reporting today that Kim Zolciak’s spinoff show is a done deal!Jacked from Reality Tea
A report first came out earlier this year stating the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her costar Nene Leakes were in talks with Bravo to get their own shows.
While there’s no confirmation yet on the Nene’s show, Rob Shuter of the Huffington Post revealed today that Bravo is moving ahead with a reality show for Kim, a la Bethenny Frankel.
“Kim is a game-changer. She was the first housewife to release a single ["Tardy for the Party"] and just like Bethenny [Frankel], she fell in love and got pregnant while taping the show. She’s the perfect choice for the next lady to get her own show,” reveals an insider.
Bravo giving an Atlanta housewife their own spinoff isn’t exactly a major surprise as till this day, the franchise remains the highest rated housewives series for the network. The season three finale brought in a record breaking 4.4 million viewers. Season four began filming in April and is scheduled to debut before the end of this year. The RHOA seasons usually premiere in the fall.
“Kim’s new show is going to follow the very successful Bethenny formula,” an insider adds. “A new mom and her fiancé trying to make everything work. Juggling baby, boyfriend and career. But instead of all those trips to a therapist that Bethenny made, expect Kim to work out her problems at the nail salon with friends.”
Should definitely be an interesting show! The report that came out earlier this year stated that if either Kim or Nene got their own spinoff, they would be leaving the RHOA. So it’s very likely season 4 will be Kim’s last season on the show.
Kim gave birth to her third child, a baby boy, back in May, and is currently living with her NFL beau/baby daddy Kroy Biermann. There are rumors the two are engaged but nothing has been confirmed by Kim.

I would not watch this bish either because she has nothing positive to add to the world. Poeple we have the power and if we choose not to watch then it as if they don't exist.
This brings a new meaning to TRASH-TV; cause if I see this chicken on any of my television screens, I'm throwing all the tv's in the TRASH!! Her show isn't gonna last as long as Sarah Palin's did.

I agree 100%. If we, as the viewing public, stop watching some of this reality TV crap the ratings will stay low and the networks will take them off the air. We hold the power to keep them on or off of TV.
I am only one person but I stopped watching the Kardashians last year hopefully others will get the idea and stop watching too..
