Ryan and Tatum O'Neal's show on Oprah's O Network did little to reconcile their tattered relationship.

O’Neal blasted Oprah Winfrey for the way she used his fragile relationship with Tatum on the program. “We only reconciled on the show, not in life ... we don’t speak,” he told TV Guide Magazine. “In fact, we’re further apart now than we were when we started the show. Nobody told your stupid ass to go on Oprah and spill your family secrets....everyone knows that Oprah is an opportunist...if she will sell her self for ratings, she could give a phuck less about you and your messed up celebrity kids!! Don't blame Oprah for your situation with your daughter, it was phucked up before you went on the show!!
Like Oprah can make you actually be a father and have a heart. Ryan is a skeevy person who didn't protect his young child from the dark sides of hollywood. Once he found out farra was dying all of a sudden he wanted to be with her again. Since her death he's been more focused on what be can get from the estate than anything else. I could get into more but this man is a piece of work and I hope O gets him blackballed even more than be already is.

Well I watched the show and Ryan acts like a spoil azz grown man who doesn't understand why his children don't like him. He was a father that abandoned his children but he would rather look at his daughter as a child actress that he did a movie with a long time ago. He is dysfunctional and he has made his children and family dysfunctional. He doesn't want to fact any of the decisions that he made in life and he expects people to act like chit never happened and Tatum is like what is the point of getting back together if your actions are only going to send me back down the some destructive pattern that I fight against when you were no where to be found as a father in my life. I know it hurts Tatum but just moved on because you have tried to reconnect. This man doens't understand why anyone would be mad at him, he is the kind of person who you can only have a one sided relationship with his side.
Then he has the nerve to be mad at her for written a book about her own life talking about no family loyalty. Did you teach your children fking family loyalty? I can't stand parents who create family bondage and legacy having the nerve to be mad at there children for the household that they did nothing to keep together.
I watched this show to see how a daughter goes through the motion to forgive an absentee father since that has been my own experience in life trying to move forward and let go but if my father acted like Ryan I think we would be enemies because I would have been cursed his azz out. Very little absentee father care to understand the pain of there absents and most of the time it doesn't seem worth it to look back. If he doesn’t come back and addresses his choices on his own then mostly it he not be a nice reconciliation or showdown.
The problem with most Americans is they refuse to accept personal responsibility when they screw up.

Did you think you could neglect your seed for over 40 year and then come back and say "my bad" sponsered by Oprah. Get over yourself.
He is a horrible creep and a worse Father. Both Tatum and her brother are messed up because of Ryan's stupid behavior. He is such a mess he tried to hit on Tatum at Farrah's funeral because he didn't reconize his own daughter!!! That is what a life of boozing and drugs will do to your brain, folks.

Ryan is the ultimate slimeball. He introduced his kids to drugs and he actually hit on Tatum saying he thought she was someone else. That would fuck anyone up. The nerve of him ti get upset about being allegedly exploited. After how you exploited Farrah's death homie? He is a grotesque narcissistic human being. Run, Tatum, run.
Even his child with the love of his life has been back and forth in jail through the last time years.
