Jay Z Scraps Occupy All Streets T-Shirts

Amid a firestorm of controversy, Jay Z has deaded his idea to sell 'Occupy All Streets' T-Shirts.
Jay-Z and Rocawear have removed their Occupy Wall St. themed t-shirts from Rocawear.com — after the rap mogul came under heavy fire for profiting off the protests, without donating anything to the cause…

Before the t-shirts were pulled … TMZ spoke with Grim, one of the leaders of the Occupy movement, who told us, “Jay-Z, as talented as he is, has the political sensibility of a hood rat and is a scrotum. To attempt to profit off of the first important social moment of 50 years with an overpriced piece of cotton is an insult to the fight for economic civil rights known as #occupywallstreet.”

Why not make a donation and give a bunch of them away to protesters? Turn poison into medicine?

The whole concept was dumb. JayZ is not a business man he's a professional backstabber and a leech. He makes Diddy destruction of others careers look like childs play. At least some of Puffy's old artists are still releasing music. When did anyone see Bleek, Amil, or Freeway anywhere?

^^^^^^^^ Idiot Post, Freeway and Memphis Bleek still release music, look it up before you come to conclusion

I can't stand Jay z.

What he should have done is give 25% of the sales to support the movement. That being said, it is a grassroots movement with no clear leaders, so he should have become one of them. Not happening.
