Matthew McConaughey Pops the Question

Matthew McConaughey popped the question to the mother of his two children, Camila Alves, on Christmas day.
Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, had a very special Christmas last night. The actor popped the question to the Brazilian model last night while the two, who have been dating for five years and have two children together, celebrated Christmas.

McConaughey posted the news on his Whosays account. The actor posted a picture of him and Camilia kissing in front of a Christmas tree with the message “just asked Camila to marry me. Merry Christmas.”

McConaughey fans have been expecting to hear wedding bells for a while. Last March, the actor told Esquire Magazine that he knew Camila was “the one.” He said:

“I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together.”

McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 28, have been dating since 2006. They have two children together; Levi, 3, and Vida, 1. When Levi was born, the actor tole People Magazine:

“I always wanted to be a father. It just took the right woman and the right time to make it happen. [Alves] is the love of my life. Everything is right.”

Men grow some fucking balls and do it right, meet a girl , treat her right, date for a while, POP the question THEN move in and have babies...

Sheesh now all men think its ok to test drive fro 5 years and then maybe buy...

Proposal should come in a year or less, in 3 months they true character is revealed.

Every time I read stories like this and check the comments, it becomes more apparent that this site is frequented by bitter females. Oh well, dont care for McConaugay anyway. Dude is seriously delusional about his own ability as an actor.

The posters do sound bitter but they're also right..why do men take for ever to claim you, then another five/ten years of oficially dating then they propose when theyre getting old?..smh

@ 12/28/2011 7:05 PM : You need to ask why some of y'all females stay. Women CHOOSE that stuff, so I hardly feel any sympathy for females who end up in that situation. I'm even less sympathetic when they really ought to do or be doing better as far as romantic partners.
12/29/2011 12:36 AM: Naw. Sweet of you to ask though. (lol)

9:06 people like you who say what a woman "ought" to do are the most conflicting kind of females (that is if you are actually a female and not a scornful homosexual man). you make it seem as if all women CHOOSE to be miserable and pretty much summing up all women who are in relationships like these to be somewhat deserving of their circumstance. That's simply not true.

@ 12/30/2011, 8:59 PM: Yes it is. If you choose to stay with someone who blatantly hurts you emotionally, physically, or mentally, that's your fault. If a woman stays with a man like that I can't feel bad for her because SHE CHOOSES to suffer in that hellish predicament. A lot of females need to quit it with the " play the victim" bullshit because women choose us men not the other way around. If you decide to lay under assholes, expect bad results in you love life.
P.S: I'm a dude and I'm about as sweet as white people kool-aid.(lol)
