Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Heidi will file divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week. We're told Heidi will cite "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the divorce.
The couple married May 10, 2005. They have 3 biological kids. Seal adopted Heidi's eldest girl from a prior relationship.
The couple is famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary ... in a lavish ceremony.
As for splitting up the goodies, there's a lot on the line. According to Forbes, in the last year alone, Klum raked in $20 million. It's unclear how much Seal made.

Publicity stunt..he has an album dropping on Tuesday. Us Weekly already got a statement saying they aren't divorcing just having a rough patch.
Whenever you have a woman trying to convince YOU (which means SHE is trying to convince herself) that her relationship or marriage is wonderful. Then know that their ARE problems!
What woman goes aroud talking about how great their sex life is and his package is this and that? What other (famous couple) wife whenever she did interviews she ALWWAYS commented on how wonderful their sex life is and they GET IT IN every where etc. (cough! Jada!) We've all been hearing rumblings about there pending divorce.
Ladies! (&Gents) If you friend seems to always bragging about how wonderful thier husband/significant other is KNOW they are lying and they are having problems.
Know if a person situation is all good. They DANG sure not going to tell you how wonderful it. They keep that info to their selves.
I don't know about all that. That's a 50/50 situation..
