Adele has confirmed that she will be performing at the Grammy Awards later this month.Jacked from MTV UK
The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker took to Twitter yesterday (31st January) to make the announcement, with the performance marking her comeback to the stage after having throat surgery last November.
Adele tweeted: "Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon xx (sic)."
The 23-year old later said in a statement: "I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's Grammy Awards.
"It's an absolute honour to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all."
Adele is nominated for six gongs at the Grammys, including the coveted Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for her smash hit LP, 21.
She is also confirmed to perform at The Brit Awards on 21st February - a year after her iconic rendition of Someone Like You at the ceremony catapulted her to superstardom.
As well as Adele, Rihanna and Coldplay are also confirmed to perform at the Grammy Awards, along with the likes of Paul McCartney and Nicki Minaj.
The 54th Grammy Awards hit the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on 12th February, and will be hosted by rapper LL Cool J.
