Adele Vows to Spit In Her Father's Face

Adele is furious with her father for talking to the tabloids and vows to spit in his face if she ever sees him again.

The '21' singer, who has just moved into a £7 million mansion in West Sussex, told US Vogue that she was no longer interested in having a relationship with her father Mark Evans, who sold a story on her to The Sun last year discussing his alcoholism and split from her mother.

"I was actually ready to start trying to have a relationship with him," she said. "He's fucking blown it. He will never hear from me again. Because there is nothing that would upset me more than my dad being bribed by the press. It's like, 'Just let them run it, then. Don't you give them ammunition'.

"It makes me angry! To come back after 10 years and be like, 'Maybe her problem with men comes down to me'. It's like, 'Fuck off! How dare you comment on my life?' It makes my blood boil."

She went on to add:

There's consequences other than just getting a bit of fucking money that lasts you half a year. It blows my mind. 'I love her so much'. Really? Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face.

Earlier this week (February 15), Adeledenied that she is planning to take a five-year break from music.

The singer was quoted on Tuesday (February 14) as saying she wanted to"fuck off for four or five years" to focus on her relationship with new boyfriend Simon Konecki, and would only return when she can write a "happy record", but she has now backtracked on those comments.

Adele picked up six awards at Sunday night's Grammys, with '21' producer Paul Epworth also being named Producer Of The Year.
