During the concert, which was to benefit United Way of New York City and his The Shawn Carter Foundation, Jay-Z shouted out One hand in the air for Blue during the performance at Carnegie Hall in New York before singing Glory, the song he released just after Blue was born.
He then admitted that singing the song was tough - presumably because he got all emotional, which is very sweet. That's one lucky little girl (and some very scared teenage boys).
"I didn't think I was gonna make it through that one, that was tough," he said.
Beyonce gave birth to Blue back on January 7th, and there was originally some confusion over her name, with Twitter reporting that she was called Ivy Blue. It was actually Beyonce's mate Gwyneth Paltrow that cleared up the confusion.
